Local pickup after midnight – what should I do?
Hi, I need some advice. An eBay buyer has paid for a local pickup order and lives about 500 miles away. He asked about pickup time and we initially agreed on 7 PM. Later he said it might be closer to 10 PM, which I agreed to. Now he’s saying he won’t arrive until after midnight and that he’s already on the way. He also suggested sending the pickup code in advance so I can leave the item on the doorstep. Is this safe and allowed under eBay rules? I’m concerned about confirming pickup without meeting in person. Thanks!

If you have the code you should be fine.
