am I able to just enter the buyers code when they meet me for the item or do I physically need to scan their phone? I have a buyer who doesn’t use the app.

The code is important as it serves as your tracking proof of delivery.
You can enter the code on the sold item on a computer OR the app.

They can bring the 6-digit code and you can manually type that in on the sold item after the pick-up is complete. The choice is EITHER the QR code or the 6-digit code. If the Buyer prints out their order details that code will be on the paper work. I don't use my phone for eBay so I have Buyers bring the 6-digit code.
