Local pick up mistake

Question

I won an auction and did not understand about local pick up. It is too far for Mr to pick up. I messaged the seller concerning shipping no but have not heard back. Any suggestions?

Hi @rdki65

In addition to what my esteemed colleagues @comics-scifi-collectibles and @jacbarcollectibles have provided you were issued two things for the Local Pick-up: A QR code and a 6-digit code. Either of those items can be used at a Local pick-up and given to the Seller to confirm the pickup happened. So, if the Seller asks you for either of those do NOT provide them.

If the seller doesn't cancel and refund you as my fellow Mentor suggested this is my advice > For Local pick-up items you can file a not received refund request case 7 days after the date of purchase from your purchase history. Ask eBay to step in and help on the 4th business day if the seller has not refunded you.

Normally if a seller lists for local pick up they are not willing to ship the item. You should ask them to cancel the purchase. They do not have to do this. Did you pay already?
