sold a large item local pick up. Buyer came picked up and paid me cash. How do I pay ebay for hosting and how do I shown the item sold?

Best Option:
To request a call back from eBay, click on this link > Request a call back

Read the steps below, if you "Require" a chat option to communicate with an Agent. Then, use the Contact eBay link below to start a chat session. You'll have to answer some questions with the eBay Automated Assistant before the assistant notifies an Agent. You'll see a wait time estimate:

Use the Contact eBay link below and scroll down to > "Need more help?"
Click on one of the closest options (Selling or Buying) on the page.
Click on the appropriate topic related to your question(s).
Look for the "Chat with our automated assistant" link.
After a couple of questions you should type "Agent" into the text box if the assistant can not help.

Click on this link to begin an eBay Chat > Contact eBay

Do Not Post Your Account Information Publicly. Use the private messaging options:

You'll need to provide your user ID, your name, your address, and the registered email address attached to your account. Also, be sure to give them plenty of details.

The eBay Agents usually respond in a day or two and may research the situation better than the "Request a call back" agent or a "chat session" agent.

Hi @jerry*patty

There is a process for closing out a local pickup (a difficult process).

The buyer must find the QR code or the 6-digit code issued by eBay and bring it with them to the pickup location. But, it's not easy for the buyer to find the eBay Message or a confirmation email message from eBay.

One thing seems to work: The buyer can print out their Order Details page from their Purchase History.

Here's what the two of you would have done if the buyer had brought the QR code or the 6-digit code to the pickup location:

For proof of pickup (the third bullet item has been added):

Use the eBay app to scan the QR code the buyer received through eBay Messages/email.
Use the eBay app to manually enter the 6-digit code the buyer received through eBay Messages/email.
If the buyer has trouble locating the eBay message, ask the buyer to print out the order details page and bring that to the pickup.

To scan the QR Code:

Go to Selling on the eBay app.
Go to the Orders tab.
Select the Arrange Pickup banner.
Tap the Scan to confirm pickup button.
