Local pick up
I sold an item it specifically said local pick up only and someone has paid for it in his profile. Says he lives in Florida and I live in Ohio. He’s not responding to my messages. I cannot ship this nor do I want to and specifically said local pick up only. How do I deal with this

Mentor4 months agoYou did not have LOCAL PICKUP in the title. I would send a message to the buyer using the CONTACT BUYER link and let the buyer know that it is local pickup only, and did the buyer plan a road trip soon? If not, you can cancel and refund the buyer's payment for Problem with buyer's address.
If you are using the new messaging system, start typing where it says SEND MESSAGE. The area will enlarge as you type. When done typing, click on that "paper airplane" looking arrow on the right side to send the message.
If you need to relist the item (using Sell Similar), I would suggest adding LOCAL PICKUP and either the zip code, or your city/state in the title.

Cancel the sale as problem with buyers address from the drop down menu next to the item.
This starts the refund process.
This is how refunds work>>
Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.
Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card.
Once you issue the refund and the buyers funds are released from being held or finish processing then the buyers payment is released to you.
