local hand delivery, is that okay
I sold an item and ended up delivering it since it was to someone local. Is that okay? I know they received it because I saw them pick up the package, they acknowledged me and thanked me through a text.

It's risky to do that as you have no tracking to prove delivery (the fact that you saw them pick up the package and you received a text isn't enough). If the buyer were to claim non-delivery, you would have to refund.
If you want to do local pickups, you need to list that way so the buyer receives a code they can give you when you delivery the package. You then enter that code on the transaction.
