local drop off?
I had charged a customer for shipping and then found out they lived really close to me, so I dropped it off to their house credited them shipping, but now eBay doesn't show the item has been delivered. What should I do?

Mentor2 years agoIn your list of sold items, select ‘mark as shipped’. You can’t mark it delivered, just shipped.

Mentor2 years ago@seebok That is not the best way to handle the sale if you want to change to local pick up.
The only thing you can do now is go to the sold item and mark it as shipped from the drop down menu next to the item. There will not be any tracking to prove delivery so if the buyer says they didn't receive it they WILL win a not received refund request.
That's why I would've canceled the sale and relisted with local pick up. Then you scan or enter the 6 digit code that the buyer receives into the cellphone app at pick up. The local pick up code is your proof of delivery for not received refund requests.
