"LLC Verified, But eBay Blocking Listing – Identity Issue"
Hi eBay Community,
I recently created a business eBay account under a U.S.-registered LLC (in Texas). I am based outside the U.S. and don’t have an SSN, but I do have an EIN.
During listing, I got this error:
**“We’re unable to verify your identity at this time. Please contact us.â€**
I mistakenly entered my national ID instead of an SSN. Now I cannot proceed.
How can I fix this issue and complete verification using my EIN and foreign ID?

Mentor1 year ago@dealzy-07 You are not going to be able to register an account as living in the US since you don't have the required documents.
Your registered name and address on your eBay account must match your checking account and government ID exactly. You can not use a PO box for your registration but you can use it for your ship from and to addresses. You need to use an EIN or SS# when you have a US address.
Depending on where you live you need to either open an account on your home countries eBay site OR if your country doesn't have one then you receive your buyers payments via Payoneer instead of to a checking account.
Since you are located in another country you will need to contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.
