live person
I am trying to setup an email store. I have had my personal eBay account for a long time. I am logged in under that account. I am click on selling, subscriptions, and when I click on manage subscription, it gives me all the different plans but all the options are grayed out with a red bar across the top of my screen saying add a payment method, I click on that and then I add a payment method. I go through the steps again to choose a subscription and then it loops me back to the payment method even though it shows the card I added. Of course, I can't figure out how to talk to a live person. Can someone help me?

Mentor1 year ago@ttinared The first thing you need to do to change your buying account to a seller account is start a listing on eBay. Once you start to list an item then you should be prompted to add your checking account for payouts and your back payment method for selling costs.
You need to add a back up payment method for selling costs in account settings.
https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list I use a credit card. After you add the card then select use for selling costs.

Subscribing to a store will NOT increase your new seller limits. Wait until you can list at least 250 items before you open a store. Selling Limits> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/selling-limits?id=4107&st=1

Welcome to eBay selling! You won't need a store subscription just yet. You don't need to pay that monthly fee until it makes sense to do so at about 100-300 listings.
The first thing to do is to set up your first listing. As part of that process, eBay will allow you to add a card for selling expenses and a bank account for payouts.
More details:
Here is a help page with everything you need to know to start selling on eBay:

When you are ready to get started, there are links on the above page to:
- Set up a basic account
- Create your first listing
When you finish your first listing:
- eBay will ask for more detailed information from you, including where you want your payouts sent and a card to pay selling fees.
