LIVE IN USA - INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNT
I’m a US Citizen and live in the US, why is EBay all of a sudden stating my Account is an International Account?

Are you using a VPN or Starlink?
Try making your purchase without wifi on your phones data.

OP8 months agoYes but I’ve turned off my VPN.
Is it because I live in California and they’re trying to forbid me from buying anything even remotely related to hunting or firearms related?

The new firearm law that was passed in CA is most likely to blame.
See this post from a seller. We have been trying to find out how eBay will handle CA firearm accesories sales and purchases
It appears that eBay is going to automatically block sales of the items. It would be nice if the message was clearer.

OP8 months agoOk thank you for the replies and help, looks like EBay is just blanket classifying anything and everything hunting and/or firearms accessories related, even remotely, as forbidden and designating all California EBay Accounts as “International†to block us from buying even accessories or parts that have nothing to do with building a “weaponâ€.
