live auction replays not working
Trying to review purchases at 2 different live auctions but neither replay works...no audio or video. One auction was on 12/19/2025 the other was 1/1/2026. I've tried numerous times to open both replays at different times and on different days and that hasn't worked either. Same result...no audio or video. I can't find anything in Ebay's self help customer service that addresses this issue and I haven't found out how to contact a person at Ebay that can fix the replays. Any advice? Thanks

OP9 months agoThank you Mr. Lincoln, yes, eBay Live is exactly what I was looking for. The Video Receipt link worked with one of the auction replays so thank you for that suggestion! Not so with the other auction replay...same result as before...no video or audio even when I clicked on the Video Receipt link. I'm not on social media, is that the only way to contact eBay these days?

I'm not on Social Media either and to me eBay has dropped the ball with their lack of consistent customer service. In hopes of getting a call back or use the chat feature here is what else we share with members.
We recently learned that many of the links we post to Request a call back are now simply forwarding members to eBay's Customer Service "How can we help you today?" page (link below). On that page members have to complete numerous choices before being given ways to be in direct contact with eBay. Depending on the subject, representative availability and other factors requesting a call back may or may not be possible. Chat or an email may be provided. If you get a Chat box Type “AGENT in the box.

OP8 months agoMr. Lincoln I want to thank you for taking time out of your day to help me. I really appreciate it. I'll try eBay Customer Service one more time and see if I get a better result following your advice. FYI I purchased a few more items on eBay Live this past weekend and ran into a similar problem with one of the replays...no video or audio on first attempt, video but no audio on second attempt, then audio but no video on third attempt. In case you're wondering, the replays provide a audio/video link between the purchase and eBay's order details. The replay gives the auctioneer's item description, shows the item, gives the lot #, and shows the winning bid...similar to what you get with a standard auction on eBay. Without the replay all eBay gives me is the order details with the lot # and price I paid on it. The order details does not have a description or photo of the item purchased. If I ever decide to sell the item down the road, I want visual proof of what I bought and how much I paid for it for my taxes. Anyway I'm rambling, for now eBay's replays are unacceptable to me so I'm done with eBay Live until they fix this and replays are reliably available. Thanks again for your help, it's much appreciated.

Do you mean eBay Live? The Help page below explains how to see the Video Receipt of an auction you won. It is possible they have some technical issues with that right now too ... if indeed this is what you are looking for.
