Listings with policy violation - attempting to sell outside of E-bay
Has anyone had their listings flagged, but nothing is wrong with them. E-bay techs haven't been able to tell me where it is in my listings that I offer to sell outside of E-bay.

Any ten-digit number in the listing, such as a model number? Even with a space &/or hyphen (bots ignore them) between digits. Sometimes the bots mistake a digit string for a phone number.

OP8 months agoThey were "removed", but I just got off a chat with E-bay customer support and they could not find anything wrong with them. They are escalating it up to next level support with resolution within a few days. Nobody can tell me what is wrong with the listings. Good point from you about messages with buyers, though. Nothing like that with these listings. I was mostly curious if this has been happening to other sellers.

It sounds more like some kind of an AI listing review bot malfunction for lack of a better explanation. eBay continues to give more and more daily control to their AI systems (like many companies) so I suspect we will see this kind of oddball occurrence during AI's learning process. sorry it happened to you.

OP8 months agoThank you for your sympathies and I'll bet you are correct about AI. It will be interesting to see if there are additions to this thread in the future.
