Listing violation resolution
Summary: A participant initiated a discussion regarding a resolution for a listing violation, but no details were shared in the content. The response from disneyshopper, followed by a further reply from xyxylphrax, also lacked specific information about the issue or resolution.
I listed an item that received a violation for supposedly offering to sell the item outside of Ebay even though I didn't offer it at all in the listing, but I did have it on another site and was unaware of that being a violation. I took it off the other site, and then sent a reply explaining I had removed it from the other site and that I was not offering it outside of eBay. But I never heard anything back and now the buttons are grayed out on the item even though it still says I need to resolve one policy issue. If the buttons are all grayed out, how can I resolve it?

Mentor4 months agoDid you happen to copy/paste part of the description from another website? If so, there may be some HTML hidden in the text that includes a URL, which is directing the reader to another website which may then lead to sales off of ebay. Can you END the listing?

OP4 months agoNo, I had no links. I had only mentioned what the items had been valued at on the other website, but no links. I then removed any mention of that site. I can't end the item as I mentioned all the buttons to do anything about it are grayed out. When I tap on the listing, it says "That item isn't here".
