Listing Views Need Improvement
Hello, I'll just cut right to the chase,
It seems like my listings aren't quite getting the views I would expect. I currently have mostly sport card listed I understand my inventory is losing it's popularity and I know that's part of my problem, I'm fully aware of this, but even with the continued slump and prices dropping, I still think I should at least get a few looky lous at minimum. For example when I sometimes list the same exact item on Mercari, within 10-15 minutes I will be able to see 1-3 people have viewed the listing but on eBay with a better price, more potential buyers, less shipping costs, and better or more established buyer guarantee, I won't get even a single view at all. This is happening on 80% or more of my items, on the other hand it's not uncommon I'll receive a dozen views and get offers or it'll sell before I even finish listing the new stuff that day, and it's not always because it's a super sought after or rare card, it'll happen just as much on a card I was not even gonna list in the first place because it was a super common card with thousands others that are identical some with better prices or better shipping too. (I thought maybe I'm selling myself short but I price check everything) There seems to be no in-between. So I really need to know what I'm missing am I doing it all wrong and I'm a terrible seller, or is it something else I'm not seeing, I understand the huge drop off in cards but even with taking it into consideration I believe I should at least see a couple looks if nothing else. Also my feedback is very good, so it's not me just being lazy or not putting forth the effort infact I probably put a little too much effort into my packaging and it's overall look. Sorry for the ridiculous rant, for those who Read this to the end I give you my appreciation. I appreciate any constructive criticism or helpful pointers, any thing factual or from your own experience. I'm currently all set on opinions and rude comments tho, all stocked up here so please go sell your negativity elsewhere. Everyone else I'm very grateful for and I value your time.
