listing to sell
The last time I sold on eBay was perhaps 30+ years ago. I now find thing have changed.
I tried listing an item. Entered information and photo. When I entered to "sell" was told I do not have an "account".
I found out that they send a code to your phone which you enter to create an account. I have done that.
What I would like to know:
Will I need to receive a code for each item I sell? A different code for each item, each time? Or NO code needed from now on?

Mentor3 years agoNo, you will not receive a code for each item.
But have you registered for Managed Payments so that you can receive your payouts? PayPal is no longer eBay's payment processor.

(Just an update for you... eBay is 27 years old and you opened your account in 1998, 25 years ago.)

OP3 years agoTHANKS! No I did not know about registering for Managed Payments. I have not sold on eBay for 30+ yrs? I did not pay any attention to the eBay updates as I wasn't selling. Why was I was allowed to list items, which I now had to end, without having signed up for Managed Payments? Fortunately no one had bid. I looked at the connection you gave. Confusing, it's too much for me to understand. When / where do I enter the info they want? I thought there would be some form to fill out on-line. I am not computer smart and they want files sent. Any more help will be appreciated.
