Listing that consists of multiple items; buyer asking to buy only a few

Question

I have a listing that contains a lot of 40 items that I was hoping to sell all at once. A buyer is asking if he can buy just a few of them. Do I need to relist it to reflect the items he wants with a new calculated shipping? Or is there a way to make a sale via emails with the buyer (not sure how the buyer would pay though)?

@davameda0 You have to end the current active listing and then create a new listing with the ones that the buyer wants.

You will also have to redo the photos on the existing listing before you relist to remove the ones that the buyer purchases.
