Listing removed for being counterfeit that wasn't
My listing was removed because Ebay said it was counterfeit and it was not. I'm not given the option to speak to a real person so what does that mean, Ebay just thinks it's counterfeit and the seller is screwed?

Mentor8 months agoDid the message you received use the term VeRO (Verified Rights Owner)? If so then the rights owner of the brand had eBay remove the listing and it cannot be relisted. Many rights owners of brand name items do not want them listed on eBay.
If VeRO was not mentioned then the listing was reported by another user and you might be able to list the item if you can convince customer service that it is genuine.
You can contact customer service using this link and ask for a call back: eBay Customer Service Unfortunately eBay removed our ability to get you around the AI questions so you may need to ask for an "Agent" several times before the system will give you the call back option. Customer service is open from 5am to 9pm Pacific Time.

Really sorry that happened.
Something in the listing triggered eBay's automated system to take that item down or some other member may have reported it but if it happened almost immediately I would suspect the former.
You probably see other items like yours for sale too, we see this scenario play out on a regular basis and for different alleged policy violations.
Unfortunately, the best advice you will be given is not to try listing the item again on eBay and you will have to sell it elsewhere.

You are more than welcome ... in 10 plus years of Selling on eBay I've had a number of listings removed for different reasons and only one was a real policy violation for hazardous materials on a vintage train scenery accessory of all things LOL!
