listing removed by eBay
Greetings-I had two listings removed for hazardous material policy violations. I appealed and was denied. They are for a reproduction tin toy "putt putt" boat - which is steam powered by a small candle. I am confident that it was due to my description of the candles, in the way they are described on the package. HOWEVER, there are DOZENS of these items listed by other sellers.
I will be happy to re-list and change the description - but the help information states that re-listing could result in suspension of ALL my sales! I would appreciate some advice please!

No one can give you any real assurance that if you change something about the listing that it will therefore not get caught and trigger a suspension.
It is probably best to sell that particular item elsewhere rather than risk your eBay account, even if others can seemingly get away with it.

It is most likely your item title that is causing the problem, if you are mentioning Candle in it. While there are many listings for those boats, only one has Candle in the title. Open the link below and see how that seller has the item listed, and its item specifics and category/subcategory.

Because of the warning you've received you may want to hold off listing the item for a month or so.

OP4 months agoThank you for your reply - Actually, there are quite a few with "candle" in the title. But candles are an allowed sale on eBay anyway - so why flag this?!
So annoyed........
