Listing not showing up. Has no viewers, no watchers after several days.
My item is "supposedly" up for sale (even received an email that it was listed) -- but doesn't appear on my "sellers other items" page or when I do a search for it. What could be the problem? Thanks for any suggestions or solutions.

OP5 months agoI did a revision this morning, and it is now showing up as a "new listing" when I do a search for that type of item (original Civil War cap box). So I think it's listed now. I've been selling on Ebay since 2002 -- this is the first time this happened. Thanks for your replies.

Glad you figured it out but both @eburtonlab and myself saw 2 listings after your OP (Original post). Your cap is one of the 2 listings and yes, it is showing as a New listing. However, that does not happen just from "revising" (eBay refers to it as Editing) an active listing. If you End a listing and it moves to your Unsold - Inactive file and then the Relist it about 3 days later (or longer) it will get the New listing designation. I know because I have seen this on my own listings.

Mentor5 months agoIt appears you listed that item on April 3rd, and revised it within 24 hours, which can delay indexing.
Not every listing takes the full 24 hours from the last revision, but it can take that long, and certain categories may require additional vetting; not sure if civil war collectibles is such a category, though.

We have no account access here so you are going to have to provide more specific detail. WHAT is the item number and WHAT is the item? Is it one of the 2 that you have for sale? Some items that you may list are simply not of interest to people or the right person may take a while to come along.

I see two items you currently have listed.
New listings can take up to 24 hours from the last revision to be indexed and appear in search.
If it has been that long since the last revision and you still do not see it, what is the item number?
