Listing Issues and setting promo%
It started as a glitch/error when choosing promo percentage and the app essentially trying to force you to use their suggestioned percentage. For instance, if I'm using the mobile app, I make my listing and scroll to bottom for promotion and hit the switch to turn it on, now suggested let's say 12%, I delete that and put in 2%. If I sit there and wait a few seconds, it defaults back to 12% and if I didn't catch it, I'd be charged 12%. I have to go back and delete it again and replace it with my percentage. It now has gotten worse and still sometimes defaults it back and last time I mass edited listings, I caught 7 listings where the promoted percentage was defaulted back to eBay suggested percentage.
I edit item details and typically fill out that section as best I can, now this is clearing my information or reverting back to original listings details. Sometimes I may have to change 20 items in this list only to have to go back and edit them all over again. Recently with AI description, it has started defaulting back to original listing information, even if I changed all the details. My work around is to change item details that are correct for my item. Back out of this section and then back out of the listing completely and when I enter the listing and double check item details, I can now go to the item description and use AI to fill in the description correct and with my information. I'm sure I'm not the only person with these issues, but is eBay aware? The percentage issue has been going on for months and months now, but it's getting worse and ultimately taking more time consuming for each listing. Is there any better work arounds? Other than using website?
