Listing Fragrances
I’m looking for tips on how to list Authentic brand named fragrances without getting them removed, presumed “counterfeit.â€
I spoke with a representative yesterday and he said that I just need to make sure that I don’t list any pictures of the bottle outside the packaging. He also said I’m clear to resist my items.
cool - I made sure all my photos were of the fragrance in the original packaging, with the skew visible for proof of authenticity.
They still got removed….
also, can I delete these removed items from my profile so that I’m not confused on what’s been approved vs what’s hidden?
Thanks for your help !

-Any item that was removed do not try to ever list it again on eBay, sell it elsewhere
-If you tried listing before reading the Policy page on that type of product then that may have been part of the issue: Cosmetics and perfume policy | eBay
-Items listed per policy typically remain Active but sometimes items are removed that do NOT violate policy.
-The removed items go to your Unsold file and will remain there for around 60 days (that's what happened to one of mine). You cannot delete it or resolve it from there, it just sits until eBay drops it. I reported this issue months ago but it has never been fixed.
-Really sorry it happened and you will probably see other listings live that were like yours, those may get removed or blocked if a purchase is attempted.

You will have to do that research yourself, we support eBay here opposed to promoting other online venues. If you search for items like yours you can then see where they are being sold from, that might help answer the question. Some venues are better for certain products than others.
