Listing flagged and removed
I had a listing flagged and removed for “patent infringement “ but there are several other listing by people for the same item. Why would mine get flagged and removed. I did the appeal and this was the response…
We reviewed your appeal of an action on your account. Upon further review, we’re unable to grant your appeal because the listings aren’t following our Intellectual property policy. Your listing was reported by a rights owner because it is infringing their patent
can someone help? I don’t get it 🤷â€â™€ï¸

Your story has been repeated for years and the appeal process is pretty much handled by AI and rejections occur very quickly. The other Sellers may have listed those items in such a way that they were not flagged initially and those items may get blocked when a Buyer tries to purchase them.
The best advice now is to sell it elsewhere. You also have the option to report those other listings if you think they are in violation of eBay policy ... however, I reported 4 listings last week that were clearly in violation of eBay policy and all 4 of the reports were summarily rejected by AI ...
