Listing errors
I made a offer on a piece of heavy equipment that the listing said was in Florida but when I was contacted by the seller I was told it was in California and that it was just a mistake by eBay

·2 years agoeBay doesn't make those kinds of "mistakes". The seller is the one that lists the item location. You can report the listing for "Location Misrepresentation", using the report option within the listing. There is also the, more likely, possibility that the listing is fraudulent, particularly if the seller is asking for a non-refundable payment method. I would proceed with caution. Use the report option to report a "fraudulent listing" if you see more indications of fraudulent activity.
