I feel my experiences with E-Bay is that E-Bay permits listing description and does not give HELP, To deal with listing description. you don't know that you been taken! ! !. I bid on land that said 36 mouth Term Available did not say it was a term note that was not listed in description

Sales of land (and Motor Vehicles) have their own rules on eBay due to intense state regulation of those sales. One of the rules is that either party can walk away, e.g. if the buyers discover some discrepancy in the description. On almost all other categories the sale is covered by the Money Back Guarantee where eBay will force the seller to refund in full (or eBay will do so if the seller won't and go after the seller for reimbursement) with the seller covering the return costs if the item is significantly not as described.

If you have any questions about the description you need to ask the seller (and get a satisfactory answer) BEFORE you bid/offer/buy.
