Listing an item now broken
When trying to list an item and turning on "Don’t know package size? Set your own shipping rate." and Seller Pays shipping fee, it always presents an error stating the package weight or dimensions are missing.
I've almost always listed items without unknown package specs because I don't want to unpack it if I sell it locally or combine it with other items. eBay has always allowed this in the past, but now it is always showing an error.
Very frustrated.

Mentor4 months ago@wesg92 It sounds like you are selecting Calculated Shipping. With Calculated Shipping you must enter package information.
If you select Flat Rate then you do not have to enter package dimensions.
Business Policies also may been turned on or not set up correctly. You can opt out of business policies at the top right of this page> https://www.ebay.com/bp/manage

OP4 months agoThere’s no option to select calculated shipping.
It doesn’t matter if I select USPS Ground, media mail, or UPS ground it still won’t let me continue without entering package specs, even though the UI lets me toggle these fields off.

OP4 months agoChatted with customer service and they confirmed this is a mobile app bug that they'll be fixing.

Have you tried using your phones browser or a computer to list an item?
Did you make sure to OPT OUT of business policies? >> https://www.ebay.com/bp/manage Opt out is on the upper right of the linked page.

Mentor4 months ago@wesg92. Just wanted to make sure since agents sometimes say it's a technical issue but it's really that they don't know how to use the site.
Have you tried removing the app, restarting your phone, then reinstalling?
