Listing a "Wanted" object
I am looking for help. I am not sure if this is available. I am looking for a certain coin, however it is difficult to find. I would like to be able to list my desires with a certain price that I'm willing to pay.
Auction houses make profits of 20 to 25% and do not list to whom the item is sold. It would be convenient to access these buyers with an offer to acquire their purchased item on demand.to whom the item is sold. Is anyone aware of a service where you can list a desired coin at a desired grade for a desired price?
This would be an interesting twist where sellers would compete for a buyer versus the current status.

Mentor1 year agoIf you can create a search that find the coin you are interested in without finding other coins, you can save the search and have eBay send you an email if anything matching your search is listed on eBay within a day.
There are also third-party services that will run the search multiple times per day to alert you sooner if you are interested in that as well.

Ebay had a "wanted" feature many years ago but it has long since been discontinued. If I recall, it was no longer being used with much frequency and some users complained they were getting unsolicited offers on random items.
