Listing a book
I have tried to list a book for sale 10 times at each time it keeps telling me that the title is too long!
something is wrong! I need help to be able to get this listing so it will be accepted!

The eBay listing Title line allows 80 characters. Put as much as you can using 80 characters then you can add more in the Description and Conditions typing fields.

OP8 months agoHey thanks! I found out that you go to the sales hub(?) and there on a line for the title I was able to shorten it to the 80 characters. Phew!
Frustrating!
I’ve been on eBay 20 years but haven’t sold much. Now I’m listing more and getting frustrated Frequently.
I’m especially flummoxed with the sales costs eBay levies. Confusing. One flat fee would be too simple…. It all adds up & up & up. I sold some hearing aids for $250 & they charged me 1/3rd. Ouch.
I wanted to list a small item @ $23 and right off the bat they wanted to charge me a two dollar listing fee! Expecting more to come I said I gotta research this and think about it! 🤔
Modern life in the digital age!
Thanks again…

Mentor8 months agoThere are listing fees for optional features, such as Subtitle, 2 categories, BOLD title, etc. You are shown the price as you create the listing. If you don't want to be charged, you will have to remove that feature before you click to Submit the listing.

You need to shorten the listing title.
