do i understand this correctly? i search for my item on ebay, i do not see it, so i assume i made a mistake, I donate my item to charity--- a few weeks later my item sells because someone found it. Now i have already donated my item and I believe ebay penalizes me for selling an item i do not have-- is this correct?

Mentor3 years agoYes, you will have to cancel for an item that is out of stock.
Next time, do not search for your item, look for it on your Active listing page.
