Listed an item as local pickup only; received an offer, but the offer mentions shipping
I listed an item as local pickup only. I received an offer, but eBay provides a "ships to" address, so I'm confused whether accepting this offer commits me to ship the item, which I cannot do.

If it's the giant dog, that is set properly to local pickup only.
The part about 'ships to' is only standard language in the offer. You won't need to ship that item.

OP8 months agoThanks. I messaged the buyer, and he indeed cannot pick up the item, so I rejected the offer. Seems like there is room for eBay to improve the clarity of its platform with respect to this niche situation.
