@ links to members Is the seller responsible for item if USPS looses the package?
If I have the receipt from the shipping service that shows what day I sent it, the tracking number, the buyers address and the date to expect delivery, but the buyer says they never received it, do I have to send a refund? my post office has lost things in the past and even if I had it scanned in as received, they never could resolve where it was last scanned in as received after it left the original post office. I had to send a refund even though I could prove that I sent it.
I also Have not received items I was waiting on, and when I asked the post office about it, they said they would speak to my mail carrier, " Maybe he just forgot to mark it delivered" Of course it would then say "delivered" even though I know I never got it.

Mentor1 year ago@carbar-2296If tracking does not prove that the item has been delivered to the buyer's shipping address, you will be required to refund the buyer.

You can file a lost package claim through USPS if the package was insured.
