Linking my ebay adcount to Paypal or Netspend

For years I linked my ebay account to my paypal account with no problem. Now
Ebay is telling me I need to link a different account to get paid. Why?

PayPal stopped processing buyers' payments for sellers years ago. Adyen via Managed Payments now does that.

Sellers need to provide eBay with checking account information to receive the payments. Many sellers have opened a new, online checking account to use just for this purpose. That will keep your personal account private.
