Limitations imposed when using the automatic payment feature

Question

Sellers: understand that when you enable the automatic payment feature you deny buyers paying w/a debit card the opportunity to bid or even to make an offer. I've sold on eBay & understand the desire to be paid immediately. But because eBay can't insure that a balance available at the time the bid is placed will still be available at the end of the auction it will not accept debit cards for these auctions. You are limiting the available # of buyers? Good idea?

I opted OUT of the auto pay because I want to encourage my buyers to make multiple purchases, as I give them a discount for combined shipping.
