Mentor1 year agoWho is the letter from? What does it say? Are you (or were you) in NY? Does the letter have any of your identifying information other than your address, or does it just appear to be a blind form letter message that could have been sent to anyone?
What is the letter asking you to do, specifically?
Such a letter may be genuine if you have unused credit -- but that does not mean that scammers will not copy a similar letter for use in a scam, so you will have to take care in any case if you want to follow any links or provide any private details.
