Question.... The State that I am in has just put a stiff fine on receivers or parts that can be used for gun's as a new bill was introduced just now. Technically, if this is true, then part's from a nail gun with a receiver that can be modified or not cannot be sent to Oregon residents or a stiff fine can be charged to the person or company sending the product. Here is what the Bill reads like:
HB 2005 - This legislation defines terms such as “undetectable firearm†and “unfinished frame or receiver.†It establishes penalties for various offenses related to these firearms and components. Manufacturing, importing, offering for sale, or transferring an undetectable firearm can result in up to 10 years’ imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
Will ebay be able to send nail guns, as it cover the disassembling of a frame or receiver? or will such a product be shipped where a frame or receiver is packaged separate in the same package?
