Lee reloading equipment
How are (old/discontinued) and in some cases "obsolete" Lee items being advertised as (vintage) ?. Is there some obscure underground collector market that exist??.
I bought some of these products when they 1st were introduced. There appeal was that they were an inexpensive alternative to other well known makers of reloading equipment.
Many users considered Lee stuff as "cheap junk", while others recognized the value as an inexpensive alternative for beginners, or less serious reloaders on a budget, to the higher quality products offered by the main competing companys.
I know that very old examples from these main companies some over a century old, and some now defunct are collectable to select buyer's but I can't imagine that LEE products are now considered "vintage" and somehow collectors items. How, WHEN? did this happen. Is it just an EBAY Thing ?

Some people mistakenly assume that the word vintage somehow means valuable. The accurate use of the word vintage includes a time period, usually a year. Without a year specified, the word has become corrupted and just means old.
