Leaving negative feedback for a buyer who never paid
A buyer did not pay me for over a week and so I finally cancelled the sale. Why can't I leave negative feedback for her since it shows her having 100% positive feedback? I'll bet she has done this dozens of time because she kept coming up with excuses.

Sellers have been unable to leave negative feedback for Buyers since 2008. So unless a Buyer is also a Seller, ALL Buyers have 100%.
Instead of leaving feedback, the better way to warn other Sellers is to cancel for nonpayment. That adds a strike to their account. After two strikes. She won't be able to purchase from many Sellers.

OP2 years agoThank you for letting me know! I did cancel for non-payment and I will block her from further purchases. I've been a seller for 22 years and I've been so lucky because all my buyers have paid and left nice feedback. This one was a piece of work!

Buyers can only receive positive feedback. It has been that way for more than a decade, thanks to sellers who threatened buyers with negative feedback.

OP2 years agoThank you both for answering me! I had NO idea that we could not fight back a little bit! I'll be giving eBay a piece of my mind about fairness.
