I leave FB for my customers the day their items ship, then its done and I don't have to deal with it later.
I NEVER ask for it, I never put messages in packages about it and I don't post about it on my listings like some Sellers do. I let Buyer FB for me happen or not naturally. In over 9 years of Seller FB from my customers has been consistent and between 50%-60%. I think it may also vary based on the categories one sells in.
On a side note, if you ever process an Unpaid item claim against a Buyer the item will stay on your Leave FB page for 90 days regardless of what you do. I asked to have this changed over a year ago and eBay has refused to correct this issue on their Feedback flow.
