I only have used it on Ebay lately and now Ebay leaked my number and was forced to cancel my card. Why do I have to pay for Ebay's misstake, this sucks. I've had the same card for 30 years. Be carefu when you buy from Ebay!!

Mentor2 years agoeBay did not leak your credit card numbers. If you ordered something on eBay Motors, your item may be coming from Pro Moto Billet. They seem to be a legit company in Idaho. The number on their website is 866-466-4762. You can contact them and ask why they charged your credit card. Best of luck.

Mentor2 years agoHi @69gtoguy
Your credit card company will tell you that there is no way to tell how your information was accessed.
eBay does NOT share your CC info with sellers or anyone else. It did NOT leak your number.
I’ve had my CC info accessed about 5 times. It cost me nothing. I reported the breach to my CC company and received a new card in the mail in two days. It’s a part of modern life … a nuisance, but no big deal. I’m AMAZED you went 30 years without a prior breach!

OP2 years agoHi I'm not saying that it costs money, so far at least. Just a haasle Phone calls, changing all your accouts, time, late charges, ect. I think it was Amazon that leaked it now, I read online that the same thing happened to other people and they charged a penny and all talked about Amazon in common. They have my number too from purchses months ago. My phone bill is do and now it might be rejected, 2 days, whata bet? I think they should go after these scammers and lock them up. Follow the money! Only legit places even take discover, mastercard goes anywhere I thought, I only use discover at safe places like ebay. They've had my number for a long time and never had any problems. I hope my card comes before my phone gets shut off. Thanks Steve
