Laundry Detergent Smell
Hi-
I have a buyer that is requesting a return due to the item smelling like laundry detergent (which is a good thing). She states she is highly allergic, has not bothered to wash the item or even disclose this in advance of bidding.
I have a no return policy.
Do I have to accept this return?
It seems to me she may have buyer's remorse.

Mentor9 months agoIf the buyer used a valid reason to file the Return Request per the Ebay Money Back Guarantee you will be obligated to approve the return, provide a prepaid return shipping label and refund when you receive the returned item.
Ebay's Money Back Guarantee overrides your "No returns" policy.
Some people are highly sensitive to fragrances.

If you didn't indicate in the listing that the item was scented, then you should take it back. Many people are highly allergic to fabric softener and other scents. If the buyer opens an item not as described case, and you don't agree to it, then eBay will force the refund from your account without requiring the buyer to return the item.
