What I do is explain to the buyer that I am required to ship within my stated handling time (which for me is one day). Let her know that you are willing to cancel the transaction per her request and then relist it for her when she is available for delivery so she can repurchase it then. OR she can put a vacation hold on with the post office (so you can ship as stated on the listing), and USPS will hold all mail until the return date and deliver then.
