Mentor2 years agoNo. This would cause a late shipment defect on the seller's account that would last for 1 year.

·2 years agoThat would be a huge imposition on a seller. As noted eBay keeps track of a seller's "on-time shipping" and there is no mechanism for setting the start of the seller's "handling time" during which s/he must get the item to the carrier to be "on-time" as anything other than when the buyer pays (or the payment clears if it is not a type of payment that is immediate like a credit card).
The best solution IF the seller agrees is to hold off paying (up to 30 days). Again, only do this if the seller agrees. And it is getting harder and harder to do with most Buy It Now's being "Immediate Payment Required" (by the seller and/or by eBay) and more and more buyers being required to pre-authorize payment for offers and/or bids unless the seller has opted out of requiring that for all of his/her listings.

Sellers have to have the orders shipped by the handling time they set.
