Out of town when auction ended. Messaged buyer to let them know. I assume the worst thing is negative feedback on shipping. Wasn’t planned. Any further information to relay to buyer?

Mentor11 months ago@thefourhammonds703 I would ask the buyer if they are willing to wait until you get back. Of course apologize for the error. You can turn on Time Away when you are out of town. I see you have another active auction listing that will end in 6 days. You can extend the handling time up to 15 days on auctions. If you need longer then end the listing and relist when you return from the unsold section.
If you communicate with the buyer and explain the situation they may not leave negative feedback.
You will have a late shipment defect on your account for not shipping within your stated handling time. One shouldn't hurt you too much. Seller Standards Policy
