late shipping refund limits
I purchased an item & agreed for it to be shipped later before I purchased due to seller circumstances. The buyer replied to me twice that it would be shipped even later. The 3rd & 4th time I inquired, I got no response so I reported to eBay. Seller responded the next day that they are several states away & it will be 2 more weeks until shipping. I don't need the item right away, but I'm afraid of getting stiffed in a refund. My question is: how long do I have to be able to wait before I won't be able to get my money back through eBay if it never ships?

Go to your Purchase History, find the item and click on Order Details. You should see the estimated date of delivery there.
IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:
Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history
If the seller does not respond after 3 days, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.
Personally, I would not wait and file the Refund Request a few days after the estimated date of delivery.
