Late Shipments from Sellers
This is a general post to all sellers. I fully understand USPS, FED Ex, and Other Courier services might not always ship or provide tracking when they should. That being said, my friendly advice to you "The Sellers" is to do your best to ship the items to sellers at your earliest opportunity because if you do that, there is a good possibility you will meet the estimated shipping date.
Weekends are supposed to be a time of rest, but they can also be a drag when packages do not arrive as scheduled. Post offices close early on a Saturday which means we the buyer have to wait for Monday which is a work week to check our packages.
Just as money is important, bear in mind "time" is also very important. There are certain deadlines out there that need met on the buyer's end. Once those deadlines are missed, you cannot compensate us for our time which puts the buyer in a troubling situation. You might not always know what these deadlines are for, but that does not mean they aren't important.
Another thing I would like to convey to all sellers is to just take responsibility when an item is lost, late, or damaged. When sellers say things like "Oh, I'm not going to refund you," its not good business, and then we have to open up cases with e-bay because you fail to do the right thing.
I fully understand mistakes happen, but own those mistakes so you can learn and do better.

Mentor2 years ago@pluto6067 Sellers must ship within their stated handling times or they receive a defect on their shipping metrics. Never expect a package sooner than the LAST estimated delivery date stated on the listing, allow a couple of days for postal service delays past that date. Sellers can have handling times of 0 to 40 days, weekends and holidays do not counts as part of the sellers handling time.
A seller MUST always refund the buyer for items that do not arrive when it's past the last estimated delivery date OR if the item arrives damaged or is otherwise not as described.
Sorry that you had some sellers act like they didn't have to honor the eBay Money Back Guarantee. Those types of sellers will not be around long because if eBay has to step in and force a refund from the sellers account the seller receives a very serious Defect on their account. Not too many of these defects and they are banned form selling on eBay.
