Late shipment because of weather
Because of a weekend snow storm and near-impossible road conditions I have ben unable to get out of my driveway since Saturday night and a travel advisory has been in effect. I have a shipment that was due to go out on Monday but I have been unable to get to the post office which is 10 miles away on rural roads. Ebay used to take into account adverse weather conditions and have mercy on sellers but I haven't seen any notices to that effect and I can't get the "telebot" to understand my problem nor can I find a phone number to talk to an agent.

I do recommend extending the handling time on your active listings until the weather clears up some.
If you are NOT using business policies then you can use Bulk Edit to update your listings.
How to use bulk edit:
1. Go to this active listings page : https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
2. Put a checkmark next to all items.
3. Select edit from the top of the list
4. Select all items again
5. Select edit fields on the upper left> handling time > edit and submit
If you ARE using Business Policies then you go to this page>
https://www.ebay.com/bp/manage
Update the existing shipping policies with the new handling time. When the storm passes then just edit the polices again.
You can also use Time Away to extend your handling time but there are exceptions on when it will apply>
Whether you choose to allow sales or pause them, delivery dates won't be updated for:
You may want to change the shipping format or the handling times on these items while on time away.
