Late Bid
Can anyone explain to me why a bis can be accepted after the bidding closes?
I just lost an auction to a bid that was accepted 29 seconds after the bidding closed.

The auction didn't end at exactly 4:50 pm. There were some seconds left. Nobody knows why eBay decided to truncate the display of the ending time. Check on the Bid History down at the starting time of the auction, how many seconds after 4:50 it started. The auction was over that same amount of seconds after 4:50 at the end.
