Last two transactions on eBay are very disappointing, I am looking to purchase elsware in the futur.
When you check where the shipment is coming from before payment it is different after purchase. This should not be allowed, one I purchased from Houston turned out to be China , next on east Coast, turned out to be China affiliated from California and not sent in reasonable time and still waiting. I will now be looking elsewhere first and bypassing eBay !

Mentor1 year agoYou will want to report the seller for Item Location Misrepresentation. Go to your purchase history and click on the listing with the item. On the next page, click on the link next to the title of the item that says "See original listing". That will take you to the actual item listing you purchased from.
Scroll down the page until you find the Report Item button. (It is a box near the bottom of the page when using the app. If on a PC, you will find it above the description on the right hand side.) Click on Report Item and the report will appear.
On the first drop down box titled Report Category, select "Listing practices". On the second drop down entitled Reason for Report, choose "Other listing practices". Then the last drop down for Detailed Reason, select "Item location misrepresentation." Then click Continue. Another box will appear for you to make a brief note in. Identify yourself as the buyer and explain your issue in just a few words. Then click Submit. As the actual buyer, your report will be given greater weight.

Mentor1 year agoProbably the best way to deal with sellers that misrepresent item location is to avoid them. The "US only" item location filter selects items that are listed as being in the United States; however, as you have seen, not every seller that lists items in the US ships from the US as they should.
Before ordering you should check the estimated delivery dates -- that is a good indication of how far away items actually ship from. Also, going to a seller's profile page or classic feedback page will tell you where the seller's account was registered. Although some overseas sellers do use US warehouses to ship their items (and some registered US-sellers may employ overseas drop-shippers), if a seller is registered overseas, that raises the likelihood of an item shipping from outside the US, particularly for multiple quantity commodity items. Checking seller feedback will often reveal if there are problems with long shipping times, canceled orders or other supply chain warning signs.
