Labubu return case – False item not as described (Buyer abuse)
Hello,
I am a seller and recently had a buyer open a return case claiming the item I sold was “fake.â€
However, the item is 100% authentic – a genuine Labubu purchased in person from a vending machine in NYC.
I was very happy when I got it. it was a secret and I even posted it on social media last year with photos as proof. Now the buyer has falsely claimed the item is “fakeâ€.
I’m extremely disappointed with eBay’s return policy enforcement. A buyer abused the system by falsely claiming the item was fake, which forced me to cover round-trip shipping and issue a full refund despite providing a genuine product.
It’s frustrating and discouraging to be punished for something I didn’t do wrong. I’ve lost trust in the fairness of the seller protection process and will be reconsidering whether to continue selling on eBay.

Sorry this is happening to you ...
First lets start with your No returns accepted policy ... obviously it is useless when Selling on eBay. It is not a guarantee that things will not be returned although some Sellers think that it is. You will be better off Accepting returns.
Next, yes, eBay has quite a few return reasons that bypass the No returns accepted policy which you have found out the hard way. I offer 30 day Free returns but still get an occasional false claim by a customer when they return something.
Hopefully the Buyer will return the actual item to you and not send an empty box or something else back.
