Label fee refunds
Buyer wanted to cancel order. I had already paid for the shipping label which would get refunded to me from the buyer. But I was not sure how that worked. It seems there are cancellation fees. Who is charged that fee, the buyer or seller? I approved the sell price but not the cost of the label as I did not know if eBay would refund me and did not know if eBay would charge me to cancel. The buyer changed his mind.

Mentor1 year agoGo to
Seller Hub > Orders > Shipping labels
Locate the label, click to VOID the label. The USPS will credit your account in 2-3 weeks after they have confirmed the label was never used.
Go to
Seller Hub > Orders > Paid & shipped (or possibly Awaiting shipment)
Locate the order, click the down-arrow, click Cancel order. For the reason select Buyer requested. You will be credited the Final Value Fee that was charged for the sale. Your buyer will be sent a refund to the funding source. ebay will refund the sales tax if one was charged.
