Hopefully you have a regular printer as well and for today I can suggest a work around while you troubleshoot your printer issue based on what @mudshark61369 has provided for you.
When you purchase a label on eBay you can reprint it 5 times before having to buy a new one. Use the drop down menu on the left side of the item on this page and select Download label NOT Get another label: Track and manage your shipments
Once the label is on your screen take a Screen shot. Go to your Screenshot file and open it in either Paint or a picture editing program. Crop out everything except the label and save the file. Open a Word doc and paste the image in it and then print that out. Cut off the excess paper around the label and tape the label to your box.

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedThe info below came from doing an online search for "How do I adjust shipping label sizes when I print labels through ebay?" Below is the A.I. response which includes info about using thermal printers.
How to Change the Label Size
Go to your eBay Seller Hub and navigate to Orders > Awaiting Shipment. [1]
Find the item you want to ship and click Purchase Shipping Label. [1, 2]
Look at the top right corner of the page. If you only see basic options, click Switch to Advanced Shipping (or "Show additional options") to reveal hidden print settings. [1, 2, 3]
Look on the right side or lower right side of the screen for the Print Format or Label Size section. [1, 2, 3]
Click Change next to the current format. [1, 2]
Select your preferred size—such as 4x6 for thermal printers or 8 1/2 x 11 for standard desktop printers—and choose your file type (PDF or PNG). [1, 2]
Click Save to confirm and lock in your preference for future shipments before you pay and print. [1, 2]
Since this appears to be your first ever sale or the first one in over a year, you may not know about the hold ebay will place on your payments open the link below to find out how to deal with it.
FYI, The amount shown for shipping is available to purchase shipping labels through ebay from the held funds and tracking is automatically uploaded.
